Participants at Grounded’s mindfulness at work programmes showed a 14% increase in feeling present, a 12% increase in self-awareness and an 18% increase in their confidence in their ability to lead.

Mindfulness programmes are structured over six weeks, with weekly 45-minute to one-hour sessions in-person or online. A session is typically a mix of elements depending on the topic and participants' responses, including music, meditation, storytelling, breathing exercises or journaling. Our mindfulness programmes are tailored to the values and culture of each organisation. No prior experience is required.

Grounded’s mindfulness programmes create a more resilient team culture by developing the EQ of individuals. These programmes are relevant for teams needing greater connection or remote teams.

Additional formats of programmes on offer: private sessions, monthly sessions, and conferences. Yoga classes are also available.

  • Opening up space for growth in both professional and personal life, mindfulness at work is an introductory programme for teams to explore an approach to mental wellness.

Every session has a theme covering topics such as managing stress, practising gratitude and sleep hygiene.

Clients include WaFunda and Stellenbosch Business School.

  • An Entrepreneurial Mindset enables individuals to take risks, adapt to change, and see opportunities. Mental resilience is crucial for small business survival. It helps entrepreneurs manage financial uncertainties, operational challenges, and personal sacrifices. Mindfulness practices improve focus, reduce stress, and enhance emotional well-being and self-awareness. These skills are essential for building resilience.

    Clients include Oribi and WomHub.

  • For early-stage professionals, there’s often a focus on building a strong technical ability with less focus on defining and moulding responsible leaders. These leaders need to develop a compass for managing people, understanding their own values and aligning them with the organisations.

This programme covers identifying your values, sharing feedback and managing teams remotely.

  • Too many corners lack a sense of belonging for those who continue to experience prejudice.

This is offered in two ways:

    1. Create a programme for a specific group of staff, for example, promising female leaders.

    2. We are cultivating an anti-racist practice and advancing sensitivity to allyship.
